Yes, View Tutorial

Will Pointstreak K-ForCE work on my handheld?
Pointstreak K-ForCE is compatible with handhelds running Windows Mobile 6.0 or 5.0 and the device must have a stylus. For more details, please view Minimum System Requirements

I want to buy a Pocket PC. Which one should I get?
Here's a Buyers Guide to help you compare several devices.

What is StatTrak for Baseball? Do I need to buy that too?
Help Me Choose You can use Pointstreak K-ForCE all by itself. But if you are interested in having robust reporting capabilities and in publishing stats to your own free website, then you should consider also buying StatTrak for Baseball. After you score play by play on your handheld using K-ForCE then you can import the games into StatTrak for Baseball which runs on your desktop PC (not your handheld). There is a $20 discount if you buy both programs.

When I try to install the software it says I must have Application Manager installed first. What is that?
Application Manager is software that comes with your handheld device and must be installed first before installing Pointstreak K-ForCE. You will receive this message if you have not purchased your handheld yet or if you have an incompatible device.

I'm a little league coach and we move players around each inning and substitute a lot. How does K-ForCE deal with that?
K-ForCE does not have a special lineup option for this kind of substitution in little league. But the normal substitution mechanism works OK. There is room for the starting player and eight substitutions. So if you wanted, you could use each player substitution slot for a different inning.

How many players can I have?
You can have 16 players in the line-up and up to 8 substitutions per player. To enter players 13-16, you first must have a 12th player entered, then tap on the down arrow below the vertical scroll bar.

How about hit location for spray charts?
You can record hit locations. Tap and hold in the field area and then select ground ball, line drive or fly ball.

How can I print out my scoresheet?
The desktop viewer (included with K-ForCE) allows you to view and print your scoresheets.

How do I enter a DH for the pitcher?
Enter the batting lineup as you normally would. Then switch your view to the other team's scoresheet. From there select View | Inning Totals. Make sure the horizontal scroll bar is all the way to the left. This is where you enter the pitchers. If a player in the batting order is already the pitcher, (s)he will show up here. If no pitcher is entered in the lineup, here is where you'd enter the non-hitting pitcher. This is also where you make pitching substitutions

How do I enter a DH for a player other than the pitcher?
Enter the batting lineup as you normally would. Then for the player being DH'd for, leave a blank spot after the last batter (the 10th batter usually), and enter the non-hitting player after that (as the 11th batter). K-ForCE will see the blank spot and jump to the top of the order when looking for the next batter. But when K-ForCE looks for fielders, the player will be detected; and the correct fielding stats will be generated.

I've made a mistake, how do I undo it?
Most scoring in Pointstreak K-ForCE can be undone with a single screen tap. If you score a ball when it should have been a strike, tap the area where you scored the last ball and it will be undone.

How do I stop a game at 7 innings?
Just stop scoring. The only stat that uses the number of innings is ERA. There is an ERA stat for 6,7 and 9 innings in the Box Score. See ERA-6, ERA-7 and ERA-9 for how many innings your game has in regulation.

How do I score extra innings?
Once there is something scored in the ninth inning, use the scroll bar to scroll to the right. At this point three more innings are made available on your scoresheet. Once you've used those inning, do the same to make three more innings available.

How do I handle a team that has batted around in an inning?
Tap 'Batter Up' and the inning headers will be updated to indicate two columns for the same inning. Or from the main window, click on the inning column at the top and change the value. For example, if the team bats around in the 4th inning, go to the main window, click on the number 5 at the top, change it to a 4, then click on the at bat that you want to score. The other inning columns will be updated automatically.

What happens if I have more substitution than there is room for?
The scoresheet shows three places for player information (per at bat row). Once the third player is entered on the scoresheet, two small triangles appear. Tap the bottom triangle and the player information scrolls up one space, leaving an empty player row. Enter the fourth player in this new place. You can continue to scroll up and down. There are enough rows to accommodate up to eight players per at bat row.

How do I indicate that an inning is over because of a run rule?
Some leagues have rules that cause an inning to be over before three outs are scored. Use 'last batter' to indicate that even though there were not three outs scored for the inning, the inning is over.

How do I copy data from K-ForCE to Pocket Excel?
When you are viewing any of the box score reports, click on Tools, copy to clipboard. Then start Pocket Excel and paste the data.

How do I load games into StatTrak for Baseball?
Save the game in K-ForCE and then doc your handheld. Start StatTrak for Baseball and select Import Games from K-ForCE from the File menu. Select a game and click on Import.
