How many addresses can I add?
Thousands! You can add over 25,000 addresses.

Does it alphabetize the names I add?
Yes, all entries are listed alphabetically based on the List By field. When you add a new entry you fill in the List By field along with the name and address. The List By field is the last name or company name.

Can I keep separate lists of addresses?
Yes, you can group related addresses together by Address Type (Family, Friends, Business, etc). When you add a new address you assign one or several Address Types. For example, you can have John Smith in your Family list and also your Holiday Card list. You can add your own Address Types under the Tools menu.

How much information can I type in the notes section?
Lots! You can type paragraphs of notes for each address entry and each individual.

Which Avery label works well for addresses?
Avery 8160 is one of the most popular sizes for address labels. There are also many other standard Avery labels you can use with our program.

How do I print an address book for my day planner?
Display the Address Report and click the Preferences button. Select from 3 sizes: Standard (8½ x 11), Planner (5½ x 8½) and Portable (3¾ x 6¾). You can buy special planner paper that fits in your computer printer from us for Planner Paper 5½ x 8½ and Portable Paper 3¾ x 6¾

Can I print addresses on a label sheet that has been partially used?
Yes, use the Insert button on the Label and Envelopes screen to insert "blank" labels to have your addresses start part way down on the label sheet.

Can I backup my data?
Yes, just select Backup Database from the File menu. You can backup to your hard drive, CD, or USB flash drive (recommended). Then if you ever need to recover your data, just select Restore Database from the File menu.

How do I print an address book with separate pages for each letter of the alphabet?
Click on the Tools menu and select Options. Then click in the check box to Page Break by Letter.

How do I print country name on an address label?
After you click on Print Labels, click on Choose Fields and check-on the country field.

Can I print Rolodex (rotary cards)?
Yes, after you click on Print Labels, click on Label Type to select Avery 5385 or 5386. Then click on Choose Fields to choose the fields you'd like to print.

Is there a printed manual I can purchase?
No, but you can print your own by clicking on this link Address Manager Help to view the help in PDF format (Adobe Acrobat) and then click the print icon. This is the same help you can view in the program by pressing F1 on any screen.

Can I download the software and receive a CD-ROM too?
Yes, after you checkout you're shown a link so you can download the software and start using it immediately. We'll also send you a CD-ROM for your backup.

How do I import addresses from my Outlook contacts?

  • Start Outlook from the File menu select Import and Export
  • Select Export to a File and click next
  • Select Comma Separated Values (windows) and click next
  • Select the your contacts folder you want to export from and click next
  • Make a note of the directory location where the export file will be saved and click next
  • Click Finish
  • Start StatTrak Address Manager and select Import Names and Addresses from the Tools menu
  • Click the Browse button and go to the directory location where the Outlook export file was saved and double click on the file
  • Click the Import button
  • Assign each column of data on your file to a field in StatTrak Address Manager and click the Import button. Click the Help button for more details.

How do I import addresses from Excel?

  • Start Excel and from the File menu select Save As
  • Select CSV (comma delimited) from the Save Type As drop down list
  • Make a note of the directory location where the file will be saved and click save
  • You may receive a warning message about compatibility with CSV, click yes
  • Close Excel
  • Start StatTrak Address Manager and select Import Names and Addresses from the Tools menu
  • Click the Browse button and go to the directory location where the export file was saved and double click on the file
  • Click the Import button

How do I import addresses from my Parsons Technology Address Book?

  • Start Parsons Address Book and from the File menu select Import/Export/Merge and then select Export
  • Select Comma Delimited in the Export Format drop down list
  • Make a note of the directory location where the export file will be saved and click OK
  • Start StatTrak Address Manager and select Import Names and Addresses from the Tools menu
  • Click the Browse button and go to the directory location where the Parsons export file was saved and double click on the file

How do I import addresses from my Day-Timer AddressBook?

  • Start Day-Timer AddressBook and from the File menu select Export
  • Click on All in the top right to export all of your addresses
  • Click on the Browse button
  • Enter in a file name and select Text Files in the Save as Type drop down list
  • Make a note of the directory location where the export file will be saved and click OK
  • Start StatTrak Address Manager and select Import Names and Addresses from the Tools menu
  • Click the Browse button and go to the directory location where the export file was saved and double click on the file
  • Click the Import button

How do I import addresses from Microsoft Works?

  • Start the Works Address Book
  • From the File menu select Export *** (Vista users select Export from the toolbar and skip next step)
  • Select Other Address Book
  • Select the Comma Separated Values option and click the Export button
  • On the Export screen click the Browse button
  • Enter in a name for your exported file and make note of the directory location where the export file will be saved or change it to a location of your choice and click Save
  • Back on the Export screen click Next
  • Select the fields you wish to export. ***(You need to select Last Name and First Name for Address Manager all others are optional)
  • Click Finish then close out of the Works Address Book screens
  • Start StatTrak Address Manager and select Import Names and Addresses from the Tools menu
  • Click the Browse button and go to the directory location where the Address Book export file was saved and double click on the file
  • Click the Import button
