I clicked New Tournament, entered a Tournament name and when I clicked OK I received and error message.

If I click Abort I am kicked out of the software.
If I click Ignore I receive other error messages.

Make sure that the Tournament Scheduler software is closed down.
Run this support file installer to update a Windows system component.
http://www.allprosoftware.com/demos/jet40sp3_comp.exe
After installing try the software again.
That should take care of the issue.
