Subject:
Fly out, infield fly rule, substitution questions
Description:
On K-Force how do you show a fly out as a pop up? I've looked on the pop up menus and don't see it as an option.

How do you indicate an infield fly rule for an out?

We bat just 9 players. Our coach does a lot of substutions in the bottom of an inning to try to give everyone a chance to bat. K-force only allows substutions at the top of an inning. So, to give the correcting batting stats to the batter, they have to get the players' fielding stats for fielding the top of that inning. Do you have a solution for this?

Solution:

Popup is just a fly out. The user can add something to the end of the out comment to denote a popup: "F9 Popup" or "F9 PU". This kind of comment is fairly common for line drives: "F9 LD" or "F5 LD!" where the "!" indicates a hard hit line drive.

Infield Fly Rule is also just scored as "F4" but if the scorer wants to track it as such: "F4 IFR". This can also be placed into the comment area, but this may not be as convenient since it doesn't show up on the main scoresheet when printed.

To change when a sub occurrs, tab and hold on the sub's name. Then tap substitution details. You can specify exactly when a sub happens on this screen.
