Description:
Run time error '482':
Printer Error

Solution:

That error means there is some problem that prevents printing. Below is a list of causes and solutions to this issue:

* Your computer and printer are not communicating correctly.
Turn your printer off then back on and then reboot your computer.

* You don't have a printer installed from the Windows Control Panel.
Open the Control Panel, double-click the Printers icon, and choose Add Printer to install a printer.

* Your printer isn't online.
Physically switch the printer to online or turn the printer off then on.

* Your printer was turned off when the Address Manager software was started up.
Close Address Manager, turn your printer on and then reopen Address Manager.

* Your printer is jammed or out of paper.
Physically correct the problem.

* You tried to print a form to a printer that can accept only text.
Switch to an installed printer that can print non text only documents or graphics.

* Your printer was not correctly selected in Address Manager.
In Address Manager, open one of the reports to display the preview. Click on File then Printer Setup. Uncheck the No Printer box if it is checked, then select your printer from the dropdown list of printer (***even if it is the one displayed, hit the arrow on the dropdown and select your printer***), click OK. Then try to print again.

* Some other setting in the printer is causing the problem.
Go into Windows Control Panel then Printers. Reset the defaults for the Printer in question and then open Address Manager and try to print again.

* The setting you are trying to choose for the printer is causing the problem.
Close the error and the software and then go back into the software. Try different settings then you had chosen.
