Details for Problem 481
Problem ID: 481
Start Date: 7/25/2005 2:43:00 PM
Close Date: 7/1/2013 3:02:27 PM
Category: Tournament Scheduler Pro
Subject:
Game Length issue
Description:
Customer wants to know how to set up a tournament if he doesn't know how long each game will last. Players play until they reach 21 points. Then the next team plays. He is scheduling his first tournament and is curious how he can make this work.

Solution:

If you don't care when the games are played, it's not necessary to compute a schedule. Just leave the times blank. You can start the tournament without having times entered. If you do want times, you have to estimate how long the matches/games will be played- you should estimate on the high side so you're not scheduling back to back games too closely.
