Fixing Quick Recall issues
|
I had accidentally typed in a misspelled word in one of the fields while in Address Quick Recall mode and now it keeps wanting to put in the incorrectly spelled word. I like the quick recall mode...is there anyway to delete words that have been put in incorrectly?
Also, do you have a quick recall for the other fields too?

Quick Recall is only setup on the City, State, Zip and Country fields.
Quick Recall draws its info from what is listed in your contacts. If one of the contacts has a misspelling in it, then Quick Recall will display it. Fix the misspelling on the contact and you will fix the Quick Recall.
The instructions provided below will help you find and fix the contact.
To cure a Quick Recall issue, find out what word is incorrect and what the misspelling is.
Next click the Find button on the toolbar, it looks like a set of binoculars.
In the Search Fields area click the Clear button then put a check in the box where you are seeing the misspelling.
Type the misspelled word in the Search Text box and click on Find Now.
The search results will display any addresses contacts where the misspelled word was found. If there is only one, click on that contact and click Select and then Change. Clear up the misspelling. If there is more than one listed, write them down so you know who you will need to go into and make changes on, click Close. Go into each of those contacts and fix the misspelling.
