Pointstreak K-ForCE PC Edition

The 9th batter gets up in the 8th batters spot. During his at bat it is brought to the umpires attention. The umpire calls him out and the 8th batter gets up and makes the 3rd out of the inning. The 9th batter starts off the next inning. However when I validate the software says that there were only 2 outs recorded in the inning that they batted out of order.
When that batter was called out I clicked on the #2 circle and entered BOO.

Batting out of order can be a MAJOR pain for K-ForCE.
If I recall the rules correctly (and there are lots of different rules, so this may not be right for all leagues/organizations) - if the batter does not complete the atbat, the offensive team can just put in the correct batter without penalty. In this case, the correct batter would inherit the count as if he received the pitches.
If the batter completes his atbat, the defensive team has the option of either taking the result of the play, or have the batter called out, ejected from the game, and all baserunners returned to the base they occupied at the beginning of the atbat. The offensive team would need to enter a sub, or if the league/organization/tournament allows, compress the lineup (if batting the entire roster).
Now, regardless of the rules, the umps can call it however they want. I've even seen two players called out (which is totally bogus). This is where it gets difficult for K-ForCE. In your case, the only thing you can do to make K-ForCE happy, is to mark the 8th batter as 'skipped', mark the 9th batter as out (giving credit to the catcher '2' or '2U'), the mark the 1-7 batters as 'skipped', them select 'batter up'. This should cause K-ForCE to allocate a second column for the inning and place batter 8 up with one out.
Again, this is made more complicated by the fact that the umps made the wrong call, or that your league has some strange rules.
I hope this helps.
