I downloaded the demo version of EZ. When I try to open the software I received the error message - database is version zero, this version of the database is not compatible.

This occasionally happens if the database gets damaged during installation. Just delete the file c:\program files\elwood software\ez small business\data\ez.mdb or c:\elwoodsoftware\ez small business\data\ez.mdb (the program may install the file in either or both locations- delete both). Then restart the program. It should begin with a fresh database.
