Program jammed, can't seem to reinstall
|
Program was stuck on compacting data when I first entered software. So I uninstalled and when I went to reinstall it gave me the message Could not open the uninstall executable for writing. Access to C:\WINDOWS\StatTrakAddress Manager\uninstall.exe was denied.

I am somewhat computer literate but not terribly so don't know how to solve this.
How do I reinstall the program. I have lots and lots of addresses in it and miss it horribly.

This is apparently due to the Webroot software program. To work around this, download the free trial to your desktop, right-mouse click on the downloaded file and choose 'run as administrator'. Once the software is installed, copy the Address Manager program icon to your desktop if it's not already there. Right-click on the icon, and go to properties. Click on the compatibility tab, and check 'run this program as an administrator'.
