Category: Pointstreak K-ForCE PC Edition
Subject:
Add Player During Game
Description:
I added a player in the third inning and another player in the fourth inning because they showed up late. Everything went well, and i even put the 3rd inning in the inning field when he came, but when i export the game summary, the summary is wrong because it duplicates the last batter and has that batter hit all the time, till the next inning. is there a way to tell the program to ignore the first two innings for that batter?

Solution:

>>Adding a player to the lineup in the middle of the game

Yes, if you add a player and the offense has not yet reached the end of the lineup, there's no issue. If the batting has already wrapped around and started back at the top of the order, THEN a player needs to be added, you can add them to the bottom of the order and K-ForCE should continue to score correctly. However, when it comes time to calculate stats, K-ForCE will see this as a batter who hasn't batter - at which point it will stop calculating defensive and pitching stats.

The fix is to mark the batter as 'skipped' in every atbat where the batter would have batted but didn't. The problem is that K-ForCE doesn't allow you to mark a batter as 'skipped' after the inning is over (because the menu item isn't available). The work around for this is to select 'batter up', mark this atbat as 'skipped'. Then 'cut' this atbat and 'paste' it where you need a skipped batter scored.

It is a bit complicated because the 'skipped' batter was really intended for skipping an injurred batter after he/she has batted at least once in the game. This is the opposite problem.
