K-ForCE PC Edition Question
Description:
K-ForCE stops accumulating defensive stats at inning at 2.1

File Uploaded: 1693_ridge_v_monro_05-13-2007.kss

Solution:

K-ForCE stops accumulating defensive stats at inning at 2.1 because K-ForCE thinks that batter 10 hasn't batted yet. The 10th spot isn't completely blank - it has the inning '1' entered. K-ForCE interprets this as a batter, presuming that the rest of the data will be entered later.

If you 'cut' or 'clear' this batter 10 entry, everything looks fine.

Here is how I determined this:
1) Validate Game Data returned:
ERROR: Visiting Team Fielding Stats has wrong number of innings for one or more players. This is likely caused by a subbing error.
2) Looking at the visiting team's fielding stats, I see every fielder is given credit for 2.1 innings.
3) Looing at the home team scoresheet, I see that the 2nd out occurs during #26's atbat (#26 is Batter 2). This tells me the error occurs AFTER batter 8, and BEFORE batter 2.
4) Many of these problem either occur because the Flex player (defensive only player) is listed in the 10 spot instead of the 11 spot (with a blank batter in the 10 spot), OR a 10th batter is listed but doesn't bat. In this case, the entry is only MOSTLY blank.

You have two entries for #8 at pitcher - one in the lineup (which should be batter 11, not batter 10 - K-ForCE needs a blank batter to indicate the end of the batting lineup - defense only players should be listed after the blank lineup entry), and the other from the opposing team's scorecard in the pitcher area.

You should 'clear' the entries from the opposing team's scorecard and enter the starting pitcher from his own scorecard. If you don't do this, there is no way of subbing you DH into the game (and losing your DH). I'm guessing this is what you ran into and weren't sure how to fix.

The same needs to be done for the home team - clear the non-hitting pitcher lineup entries and enter them in the batting order.
