I usually suggest that customers first change the Team name for last years team to add the year to the name. Click on Update then Teams. Click on your team and click Change, add the year to the long name and short name and then click OK. Then click Add to add your new team name which should just be the name of the team without the year, click OK then Close. You can then update the roster for this new team. Move returning players from the all player list to the roster and then add new players if necessary.

I also recommend backing up last years team using the Export Teams option. Click on File then Export Teams. Put a check next to last years team, change the name of the file exported from Baseballteam.mdb to something more appropriate...2008Dodgers.mdb, change the directory where you are exporting to and click OK.
