Category: StatTrak for Baseball
Subject:
Imported Stats wrong
Description:
One of my players stats are really large for the last game I imported from KForce. Why is that and how can I fix it?

Solution:

The stats are wrong because of a problem with Kforce game. Have you validated the game data in KForce and made sure the warnings and errors are cleaned up before importing that game into Stattrak for Baseball? This should be done on each game.

If all of the other info is correct you could go into Stattrak for Baseball, go into standard entry for the game in question, bring up the batting stats for that player and adjust them. This is usually easier then fixing some of the errors/warnings in KForce. Although it probably would be good to know what was done wrong in Kforce so you don't have this happen again.

When I hear of issues like this, it is usually because of incomplete info on the opponent team entry in KForce. You must put in a number, player name and position for the players on both teams. If you don't know or don't care to track the opponent players, you still must enter something in for them. You can fill in your opponent’s info in after the game or you can enter fake info for their team. You must also use all the common baseball positions when making the opponents lineup, players not assigned a fielding position should be assigned X or DH.
You make their lineup like this.
# Name Position
1 a a 1B
2 b b 2B
3 c c 3B
Etc.

Before fixing a game, make sure the game state is set to “In Progress” in the finalization wizard. After you fix the game, you will need to delete the game from StBaseball and then reimport it.
